MY UoG App & UoG SmartAssist Launch

The University of Gujrat proudly launched the MY UoG App and UoG SmartAssist as part of its efforts to enhance student services and simplify the admission process through digital technology. At a special session chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahoor ul Haq (Tamgha e Imtiaz), department heads were briefed about these innovative platforms, designed to bring essential university services and information to students through a convenient digital environment. The initiative was developed entirely as a student led project by a dedicated team representing the Departments of Computer Science, Information Technology, and Management Sciences. The student development team included Muhammad Ammar, Muhammad Jibran Umar, Muhammad Bilal, Muhammad Talha Khalid, Muhammad Naeem, and Sajjad Ali. The MY UoG App integrates the Student Portal, Faculty Portal, and Admission Portal while providing access to a range of essential services, including bus tracking, certificates, NOCs, degrees, mark sheets, challan forms, and other university facilities. The platform also enables students to complete the admission process through both the university website and mobile application. UoG SmartAssist, powered by Artificial Intelligence, provides quick guidance and support to students and parents, making university information and admission assistance more accessible. In recognition of the student developers' contribution, the Vice Chancellor awarded appreciation certificates to the team and announced a one semester fee waiver for the developers. The initiative represents an important step towards creating a smarter, more connected, and digitally empowered University of Gujrat.
